The length of games was never an issue. Maybe having four teams with all the good players was a bigger problem?

Length of games wasn't an issue, but pace certainly was. As is (was?) the all-three-true-outcomes-all-the-time style of play.

The replay rule an the timeouts could have been reined in a bit. I like that some of the exotic pitching motions are balks too.

If innings are shorter, shouldn’t they actual take it to the sixth inning? I mean, in the spirit of why the sales stop in the first place.
