I read that it was the most watched preseason game in the history of the WORLD!
So....2,590?

Illini - This article (and my guess is the other article/s you claimed to have read) is referring to the first of the two games that were played between the Lakers and Warriors and not the second.
Seems you were alluding to the second if you referenced Svi's 22 points.

My son's ex-lover should have retired years ago.
Not his fault Phil wanted him and wanted to pay him big money.
If people ever want to rightfully dog Joakim Noah my response is 2014. That and the man had at least 5 triple doubles - big deal, right? Tell me how many Embiid has had and/or come close to having - and Embiid just may be one of the 10 best to play the position I have seen in my lifetime.
My son will always love Paul Pierce more than Joakim Noah but this will forever be etched in his memory due to the sheer magnitude of the moment.

I don't expect people to spend 8+ minutes watching this but it's a pretty good video.

Marcus with a good first half. Still has a defined role even with the return of gordon hayward.

Embiid looking good. Simmons looking good. Boston still looks significantly better as a team so far.

Embiid alters more shots than his blocks show in the stat sheet.
He's credited with only one block but I've seen a number of basically blocks already in this game.

And Aaron Baynes sure has an ugly 3 point shot.

And on cue, Embiid with a block and then jam.

Also don't compare a kid loosing at 'League of Legends', a video game, and training to get better, to Gordon Hayward, who shattered his leg in the first game of real basketball last season.

This is going to be a great rivalry.

Brown and Tatum doing a little trash talking to Embiid after some big plays. Can't wait for the this series to happen in the playoffs (hopefully).

Game/s played last night....

Who had the more productive game?
Embiid - 37 min, 9-21 fg, 1-4 3pt, 10 reb, 2 ast, 1 stl, 2 blk, 5 to, 23 points
MCMorris - 21 min, 7-12 fg, 2-7 3pt, 10 reb, 2 stl, 16 points

Sidenote - Anyone else see Wiggins is donating $22 for every point he scores - towards supporting underprivileged children who face barriers in participating in organized sports?
At first I thought that was cool and very generous. Then I realized his salary is over 25 million this season.
Still cool but a lot less generous than I first thought - if my math is right.
If he averages 20 points a game and he plays some playoff games, it will be between 35,000 and 37,500 dollars. A lot less than 1% of his salary. Right?

Good question Trad!
A lot less than 25 million but then I don't know about all his endorsement deals and investments.
I also don't know how much of a "write off" he gets on his $22 per point either.
I suppose I am minimizing his good deed and that's not really right of me to do.
I have no idea what other "charities" he contributes to. Maybe someone can fill me in.

could he give more?

absolutely, but so could everyone.

i kinda like the "22" tie-in, myself. what amount per point would have made you happy and kept you from trying to call him out?

Another good question! If the number 22 had to factor in, Maybe $2,222,222? That's an awful lot. Maybe $222,222? Points being scored not necessary to determine the amount?
Like I said, "I suppose I am minimizing his good deed and that's not really right of me to do".
I can't post Instagram posts at work but if you saw the responses on Instagram you might see how it's possible I was influenced by the bashing. I shouldn't have been.

Alvin Gentry led Pelis with the statement W against the Rockets last night.
Suns are in 1st place in the West and the Rockets are in last place. How ya like dem apples?

Anyone know what's up with Devonte? Not even a DNP in the box score. Maybe not dressed and resting the knee?

Josh Jax may have been the Jayhawk of the night last night.
28 minutes, 7-11 fg, 3-4 3pt, 2 reb, 3 ast, 1 blo, 18 points and a W.

Selden - 6 min, 2-3 fg, 1-1 3pt, 5 points. Team best +1.
Diallo - 2 min, 2 reb, 0 points. Hey pwhitt - how about that per 40/48?
Wiggins - 37 min, 8-18 fg, 2-6 3pt, 6 reb, 3 ast, 1 stl, 20 points
Mason - 5 min, 1-2 fg, 1-1 3pt, 3 points
McLemore - DNP

Phoenix with Ayton, Jackson, and Booker have some nice pieces coming together and all very young.
