So basically a couple of 4 star guards. 109th and 112th ranked by rivals. One seems to be a shooter the other more the "athlete" type big bounce, range, etc.

multi year guards who will likely play relatively small roles as freshman and could develop into very good college players later in their careers. solid start to the recruiting class. laying a foundation for the forseeable future.

Vernon Carey Jr commits to "the brotherhood"

Barf. Wonder if the ncaa will look into his recruitment as much as they've done with our players?

NSU university school? Wonder if they'll scrutinize his academic transcripts?

There seems to be no end in sight for Matthew Hurt's recruitment. He has scheduled three official visits, but his timeline remains uncertain. While Hurt's recruitment had been previously viewed mainly as a battle between Kansas and North Carolina, Kentucky seems to have picked up the most ground in recent weeks. His first official visit to Lexington two weeks ago was a success and the Wildcats should be viewed as a top contender for his commitment.

Duke has also remained in the picture and the Blue Devils' recent addition of top-ranked Vernon Carey may only help their cause. Hurt would be the ideal complement alongside Carey in the frontcourt and, from the sounds of it, both find the idea of playing together intriguing.

Hurt is scheduled to visit UNC this weekend and Duke and Kansas during 2019. If he ends up scheduling a fifth visit, he told us a few weeks ago that Minnesota or Memphis would get it.

I am going to stick with Kansas as my prediction, but I'm not nearly as certain about his destination as I was a few months back.

What if both Dok and Dedric come back? It's not like the NBA will be clamoring to get either of them early.

Sioux Falls, SD. Self was looking at Matthew Hurt and Matthew Mors. Mors is a sophomore from Yankton and might be the best player to come out of South Dakota.
