That said, unless Embiid/the 6ers come out after they loose and say, "our hearts weren't in it, we were concerned about the virus", then Perkins is wrong.
It sounds like Embiid isn't going to use it as an excuse -- he's just expressing his concerns.

I still think he is better than Bam. I do not think he is better than AD or Jokic right now.
His job is to make hot takes. Bam probably isn't even better than KAT either tbh. Maybe better as a piece on a good team (because of versatility, and he plays defense which KAT doesn't), but not better individually.

Embiid should have been on the 3rd team over Gobert.
Gobert the better defender but Embiid is no slouch in that department.
Embiid significantly better on the other end of the court.
Also Gobert may have cost us three more games & the Big 12 tournament title.

He's getting pretty dang close to "is it going to happen with him?" territory. The odds of having a long peak are not promising, based on his injury/conditioning issues to date.

No. Wouldn't get them if they were in adult sizes. Seems like UA tried too hard to copy Nike's older Paul George shoes.
Just had to order another 6 display/storage cases for my shoes. between 80 and 85 pairs now. It's a sick obsession.
Last 8 acquisitions - all this month.
Jordan 35 "Warrior" (Like them a lot - have a weird semi Puma look to them)
Jordan 35 "Center Of Gravity" (Don't really like all that much - "hit" on the SNKRS app and thought they would be more desirable)
Shox BB4 "Vince Carter" (OLD SCHOOL - one of my past favorites)
Jordan 31 "Chinese New Year" (Subtle and super comfortable - will wear on rare occasion)
LeBron 15 "Mowabb" (Very much like my "ghosts" - which are by far my most complimented shoes)
Giannis "Zoom Freak 2" (Too narrow but a solid look)
KD 13 "The Easy Money Sniper" (Not sure if and when I can pull them off - in terms of wearing them in public)
Jordan 5 "Retro Oregon" (Impulse buy. Were sold out and then the Nike Store on Michigan Ave got them in so I bought a pair)

I bought these for my grocery store quarantine runs.
They are very nice.
The Adidas Ku shoes that came out awhile back were horrible. I had to send them back. The sizing was way off and the fit was terrible. Plus they were 180 bucks.
These are 120 and very high quality. There’s fine print on the bottom of the shoe that says Kansas, Philadelphia, and Monteverde. They also come with a set of blue shoe laces.
