Re: NBA draft

Nothing was made up on my end. It's all pretty logical. Furphy intended to go pro and declared. He got some feedback that made him question his decision more than he expected, and he weighed his options more seriously than he thought he would. It's all due process really, there is nothing too outlan...

Re: NBA draft

"he was just gave returning to school a lot stronger consideration than initially expected". Initially expected by who/whom? Seriously, what the heck is wrong with you? Why do you have an insistent need to make shit up? Yes, you did say, " I dont expect furphy back." Good for yo...

Re: NBA draft

Anyone ever play bill laimbeers combat basketball?

I wouldn't mind brining him in to mentor hunter for the year. Hunter is already hated, might as well toughen him up

Re: NBA draft

paging randy..... So tell us, where does the "rumor mill" have him going to? He's going later in the 1st round so nobody knows how the draft will shake out at that point. And I always said I thought he'd stay in the draft, he was just gave returning to school a lot stronger consideration ...

Re: NBA draft

Furphy will be about as memorable of a jayhawk as Kelly oubre. We still claim them, but barely remember them playing here. Oubre was another guy that struggled early his freshman year, then hit his stride later. Played on a team that didn't accomplish much by KU standards

Re: NBA draft

When you got team randy on your side you know something is off. Lol. I was just getting the Bron boys riled up with that one. The goat argument is tiring, but LeBrons career resume is ridiculous. Is he the goat? Idk. But he probably is the best all around player of all time This sort of thing is wh...

Re: NBA draft

Yes Beal was probably a top 25 player who signed a top 5 contract, so even at the time was probably overpaid. But that's how the contract system works in the NBA. Washington drafted him, and can offer him big money to retain him. And if you draft a player and want to keep him long term, you almost h...

Re: NBA draft

Agree. He’s a good player but yea, maybe not your ideal star. I think they found out this year that Booker isn't a PG. And that Durant and Booker both need the ball in their hand to be most effective. Unfortunately there is only 1 ball in basketball. I do think Booker and Durant can work, because B...

Re: NBA draft

Fish do you think bronny is a better prospect than elmarko right now?

How silly would it be if elmarko had declared and was refusing to sign any 2 way contracts

Re: NBA draft

Which is an insaneeeee move for someone with his resume. Maybe it can be blamed on his agent or his daddy. But this is a kid who has no business in draft conversations based on his own personal resume, and before the draft he is now refusing to sign a 2 way contract or play g league

Re: NBA draft

OK i retract my statements about bronny being a good kid and not deserving all the hate/criticism. Bronny is now refusing to sign a 2 way contract and play in the g league

Re: NBA draft

"I do think Bronny gets a lot of undeserved hate..." Well said. 100 percent. I don't think bronny has ever done anything to put himself out there. He should he an under the radar guy nobody has heard about, yet people hate and hate Reminds me, in a way, of when lonzo ball was always getti...

Re: NBA draft

Bron, in defending Caitlyn Clark yesterday, linked her to Bronny, complaining about people trashing Bronny when he's "just a kid trying to live out his dreams" or somesuch. His tone-deafness is just astounding. I don't believe in "shut up and dribble," but I do think that Bron h...

Re: Welcome Noah Shelby

I'm betting he's a better shooters than his percentages indicate. Most players don't shoot up to their ability in limited minutes. His initial recruitment billed him as a good shooter

Re: Welcome Noah Shelby

Awesome to get a 4 star recruit as a walk on, I saw it mentioned he might be committing as a walk on when he first committed, but wasn't completely sure as most reports omitted that.

I'm betting he's a walk on next season as a redshirt, and sees himself on scholarship to end his career

Re: NBA draft

Agreed. The question is... is a team willing to use a 1st round pick on bronny to try to lure LeBron? For Philly (or someone) it might be worth it. If you are drafting late 1st round and think you'd have a realistic shot at signing LeBron. Philly has the cap space, and on paper teaming up with Maxey...

Re: NBA draft

Philly should use their 2nd round pick on bronny if that's an option for them. They have cap space, and are trying to attract a big time forward in free agency.

If Bron follows bronny, then essentially you are getting Bron for a 2nd round pic. Fuck yeah you do it
