Re: NBA draft

Fish do you think bronny is a better prospect than elmarko right now?

How silly would it be if elmarko had declared and was refusing to sign any 2 way contracts

Re: NBA draft

Which is an insaneeeee move for someone with his resume. Maybe it can be blamed on his agent or his daddy. But this is a kid who has no business in draft conversations based on his own personal resume, and before the draft he is now refusing to sign a 2 way contract or play g league

Re: NBA draft

OK i retract my statements about bronny being a good kid and not deserving all the hate/criticism. Bronny is now refusing to sign a 2 way contract and play in the g league

Re: NBA draft

"I do think Bronny gets a lot of undeserved hate..." Well said. 100 percent. I don't think bronny has ever done anything to put himself out there. He should he an under the radar guy nobody has heard about, yet people hate and hate Reminds me, in a way, of when lonzo ball was always getti...

Re: NBA draft

Bron, in defending Caitlyn Clark yesterday, linked her to Bronny, complaining about people trashing Bronny when he's "just a kid trying to live out his dreams" or somesuch. His tone-deafness is just astounding. I don't believe in "shut up and dribble," but I do think that Bron h...

Re: Welcome Noah Shelby

I'm betting he's a better shooters than his percentages indicate. Most players don't shoot up to their ability in limited minutes. His initial recruitment billed him as a good shooter

Re: Welcome Noah Shelby

Awesome to get a 4 star recruit as a walk on, I saw it mentioned he might be committing as a walk on when he first committed, but wasn't completely sure as most reports omitted that.

I'm betting he's a walk on next season as a redshirt, and sees himself on scholarship to end his career

Re: NBA draft

Agreed. The question is... is a team willing to use a 1st round pick on bronny to try to lure LeBron? For Philly (or someone) it might be worth it. If you are drafting late 1st round and think you'd have a realistic shot at signing LeBron. Philly has the cap space, and on paper teaming up with Maxey...

Re: NBA draft

Philly should use their 2nd round pick on bronny if that's an option for them. They have cap space, and are trying to attract a big time forward in free agency.

If Bron follows bronny, then essentially you are getting Bron for a 2nd round pic. Fuck yeah you do it

He just made couple buckets to redeem himself.

But I've said to people all season, Tatum thinking he's Kobe could be the Celtics Achilles heel. He's known to make some bad decisions and take bad shots

He's also so ridiculously talented and can hit some bad shots

Re: NBA Playoffs 24

I expect the Pacers to get a game or two. I dunno about four of em. They can score in bunches but can’t defend. Agreed. Pacers have good depth too, but still feels like there is a talent gap between them and Boston. I'd be surprised if Boston didn't win the series tho. Obviously porzingis health is...

Re: NBA Playoffs 24

Teams really struggle to match up with Denver, but Minnesota had the right pieces to be a bad match up. Elite defenders everywhere, tons of length and versatility, and a few big bodies to throw at jokic. Just a bad match up for the nuggets

Re: NBA Playoffs 24

I'm not sure how anyone could watch the nuggets and decide Malone is a "stupid ass coach" The Timberwolves are just really good. They have a legit shot at winning it all. That defense is special. They have a bunch of dogs on that team and they play HUNGRYYY. None of those dudes have won a ...

Nuggets "whole plan" included a 26 point loss, a 45 point loss, and one of the worst 2nd half game 7s for a defending champion at home in the history of the league. Stupid ass coach. https://twitter.com/TheHoopCentral/status/1792390120857112940 Dumb comments by Malone and rainbows here. B...

Re: NBA Playoffs 24

The culture in Minnesota has completely changed. Edwards had a big impact on that. He lead a team to the conference Finals at 22. Took Jordan a lot longer to accomplish that

Re: NBA Playoffs 24

Michael Jordan, I mean Anthony Edwards, is 1 for 7 with 4 pts and getting blown out in an elimination game. This sure didn't age well He hasn't played particularly well. He's 6 for 24. His teammates are saving his ass. *he didn't shoot well. But he competed and did all kinds of things for them. The...

Re: Welcome Noah Shelby

He's 6'3 and can shoot. Former 4 star guard. Didn't do anything worth getting excited about in his first 2 years, but plans on redshirting. Could be a good college player in his 4th and 5th years

But yes, it's a stability thing

Re: NBA Playoffs 24

Not sure I have ever seen a Tom Thibodeau coached team play such apathetic defense. The Knicks are getting rolled in MSG in Game 7. They're just worn down. Injuries and fatigue. Randle, robinson, annunoby, hart, and Brunson all with injuries. That's a whole starting 5 lol Edit: and bogdonavic too
