Re: The illegal immigrants want in

Post WWII Europe and current day Africa show us that streams of refugees don’t look like this “caravan,” with its mostly military aged males accompanied by a few token females and kids. Some is paying for their buses, food, and shelter along the way. Someone organized it from the start. Who? This wa...

If you’re against the principle that the burden of proof is on the accuser, vote Democrat. If you believe that you should be able to destroy people’s lives with unprovable allegations alone, vote Democrat.

Re: Bombs sent to CNN and the Clintons

The latest: white powder and “pipe bomb” sent to CNN “harmless.” https://www.nationalreview.com/news/cnn-pipe-bomb-white-powder-harmless-law-enforcement-report/ Fake or not, whoever sent these needs to spend a lot of years in prison. That said, there’s reason to be skeptical of these. Fake hate crim...

Watch where you step on the sidewalks. Hepatitis is not nice. Don’t leave ANYTHING visible in your car. I’ve read reports that smash-and-grabs are so common there that cops won’t even come out to take a report. I found out several years ago that stolen cars in KC dont even warrant a police visit. I...

Re: Mahomie

The craziest part of the game for me was the announcers, about 10-11 minutes left the 4th quarter, comparing the Chiefs to the Globetrotters, for all the options Reid and Mahomes have leaving opposing defenses dumbfounded.

"The failure to address the abuse was attributed to a combination of factors revolving around race, class and gender—contemptuous and sexist attitudes toward the mostly working-class victims; fear that the perpetrators' ethnicity would trigger allegations of racism and damage community relation...

Re: Tales for Halloween - Part 1

My friends are traveling the world right meow. One of them woke up with trouble breathing and felt like something was in his throat. Turns out it was a throat infection. Walk-in trip to the emergency room plus a few weeks worth of meds set him back $68 bucks. Seems like you’re describing something ...

Re: Shoe money trial

My doctor played basketball at TCU in the 80s, and he told me he liked Self, because he’s not just a good coach but “he’s a good man.” I agree.

Saying KU is not a victim even if they didn’t know is false, since it potentially sets them up for sanctions by a capricious NCAA.

Re: Video worth watching

Would any opponents of voter ID here be willing to tell us why you think blacks have trouble getting IDs, and whether you know any blacks of voting age that do not have IDs? If you believe that voter ID would suppress black voter turnout, isn’t that because you believe that a lot of black people don...

We didn’t get tickets, but we did get stipend at the end of the season; about $50, I think.
