And with that win, Texas jumps Kansas in Kenpom, at 4th.
Kansas remains 5th.
4 B12 teams in top 10.

Yup.
No joke.
12-6 may win it...but more likely Baylor goes something like 14-4 so we will have to keep pace.

Kenpom 6.

Baylor 1.
Texas 8.
Texas Tech 10.
WVU 14.

I figured we'd jump a bit more than that - as Kenpom takes point differential in mind.

We're on a pretty nice path toward a #1. Iowa and Baylor, though, could complicate geography (presuming there is, you know, travel).

Yeah I don't think that will happen. Travel to Indy and be in a bubble there and hope for the best draw possible since geography won't be a factor.

I think we saw a little Gonzaga-killer strategy last night. Instead of the lose the ball in the lane Sisyphus strategy, we took the shot of least resistance and worked like Hell to rebound when necessary. I like it.

Gonzaga looks like the best team, but they are pretty much playing their A game already.

We can get a lot better.

I agree--Self beginning to know what he has. I was so glad to see the team cut down on the drives into triple teams. Ironically, wasn't much of a role for Harris until they came out of the sagging lane defense and zones. I think it is great to have the ability to take what is given like last night.

Long shots also lead to long rebounds which means more offensive boards for a team that plays 4-5 perimeter players. That would have helped against both Gonzaga and Kentucky.

Also means Mitch might actually have a role on this team.

So it seems. I’m confident against anyone in a one game setting right now.

Garrett was sucking wind against Gonzaga, right?

In a one game setting, give me a 100% Garrett on Suggs for a good portion of the game. Bet it goes differently.

I don’t put much stock in the Gonzaga loss, mostly cuz it was the first game of the year.

The team didn’t have anything figured out yet, and made a lot of dumb unforced errors.

In a rematch, I think we’d take them.
