I’ll confirm. I worked in NFM’s warehouse from like 03-05, and would go to subway at lunch and smash a foot long meatball sub. Was fucking good. Could also be I was burning like 600 calories an hour and a cooked tire with hot sauce would taste good.

I have a Jersey Mike's next door to a Jimmy John's a few blocks from my home.
I don't understand that logic.
I have never stepped foot in either one.
I will never buy a single thing from Jimmy John's being that I feel Liautaud is a docuhe - but I know others who very much like the guy.
Besides, he surely doesn't need my money.

Back to Covid......
Isn't this just peachy? :x

I’ll confirm.
But also next time you are randomly around Chelsea can you go to Botinos and order a cold sandwich you think is most tasty?

A state representative from Columbia is running for Congress. She would not admit who won the Presidential election. Neither she nor her husband would get vaxed. Husband died of Covid yesterday after spending a week on a ventilator. Republicans.

Also if you get the arugula roasted tomato red pepper spinach vegan bullshit and say it wasn't a good sandwich, I'll ban you.

I mean, I love the high line, but you have to get like reservations for it now. I hate that it's so popular. Used to go in 2015 when it wasn't as popular, and on a fall day, I'd be one of like 5 people I can see. Now, it's walking through Times Square bad. Just so crowded.

Fun fact, last time I went to High Line was a couple of weeks ago with some out of town family. They wanted to go to the Vessel, and I dreaded it, saying I could go any time, and didn't want to drop the $10. Got dragged along, and it was actually really cool. Highly recommended. If that kid didn't throw himself off of it in front of his family that is two days later that is. Sounds like they aren't going to reopen.

My son's girlfriend flew in from Toronto last night amidst the rain storm. Her flight was supposed to go from Toronto to Chicago to Kansas City but because of the weather her plane was diverted to Denver to wait out the storm. Her previous ETA was 9:00 p.m. on Friday but she ended up arriving KCI at 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning. They woke up early this morning to my son's roommate knocking on his door and telling him she felt sick and she knows her boyfriend has covid, so she imagines she has covid so she is going to stay with her boyfriend until they test clear. Welcome to the USA, Ann.

Edit: They're all vaxxed.

Facebook's Most Viewed Article In Early 2021 Raised Doubt About COVID Vaccine

https://www.npr.org/2021/08/21/10300386 ... id-vaccine

A news story suggesting the COVID-19 vaccine may have been involved in a doctor's death was the most viewed link on Facebook in the U.S. in the first three months of the year.

But Facebook held back from publishing a report with that information, the company acknowledged on Saturday.

I cant imagine how many families have been devastated by this stupidity. So many unnecessary deaths over something so avoidable.

Worth noting:
That's a lot of vague info and probably false assumptions/accusations.

* 400,000 people did NOT attend the festival. About 100,000 (maybe) attended each day and many people attended more than 1 day. Some attended all 4 days.
My guess is it was more like 200,000 people who attended and as I have said, I question how ANYONE can PROVE they contracted the virus at Lollapalooza.

* 88% of attendees MAY have CLAIMED they were vaccinated. A) They were hardly/barely checking CDC cards and matching them with IDs. B) We're talking kids - many of which have fake IDs - so I assume they figured ways to obtain fake CDC cards too.
My guess is less than 51% were actually fully vaccinated.

* "Just 203 tested positive for the virus".
How many attendees have been tested? There is ZERO chance even 1/4 of the people who attended have been tested since the festival. My guess is there are a lot more than 203 who would have tested positive if everyone was tested within two weeks after the festival.

Do we need a Covid Gutter Meter? 😄

Fair points Gutter. Your nitpicking aside, Lollapalooza could have been a colossal clusterf-ck but wasn’t. Contrast with Sturgis. Whether it was 203 people or 400 or even 1000 people…..it’s still a low number. That 400k number is usually how multi day events are scored. It’s not 400k unique visitors but there were that many opportunities for interpersonal contact - ie. 100k per day times 4. Reasonable and customary
