I'm not going to be happy if Crusty Bakedhead wins his first WS as a Skipper - and I think he's going to if they beat Boston and play the Braves.
I feel it would be fantastic and ironic if it was the Dodgers who beat him and kept him from his first ring in 2021.

Isn't it weird to praise a pitcher that makes it 5 innings in a postseason game now?

What happened to seven or eight and then close? Or, gasp, a pitcher dominant and playing a full game .

Yes it is weird. At least it is to me.
On a related note, I just learned Knebel has opened five games this season but a team with 106 regular season wins is going with a "gimmick" starter in game 1?
Sure Scherzer probably shouldn't start game 1 but why not start Buehler or Urias tonight?
I suppose I should realize Roberts knows what he's doing more than I do.
Go Dodgers!

Uh, no, definitely not Cora, judging by the sports radio up here.
They love him.

If anyone can recall, back in March, the Red Sox were labeled as a rebuild team, saving payroll since they most thought they couldn't compete - projected by most to have a loosing record and finish in the bottom half of MLB. They've slightly surpassed that.

Fuck the Astros.
Yes, it will make me ill if Dusty wins a WS - after the 2003 debacle.

If the Soler trade prevents the Astros from getting a ring, it's already a win for me.

I had no idea the World Series started last night until I saw Soler bop that 2-0 pitch on my twitter feed.
