He is just there to teach Mahomes some Old Dog tricks in the QB room.

Will take that.
Absolutely.

And should have McDuffie and Fenton back after the bye.

Then Titans, Jags and Chargers - with the Chargers quite likely not having a healthy Mike Williams ( who owned us last game ).

Three very winnable games but we know the Chiefs love to play to the level of their opponents.
If the Chiefs played like they did yesterday they would be undefeated and have an avg. winning margin of double digits.

Skyy Moore keeps f'ing up as a kick returner.
This one didn't cost us but the Colts game it might have.

Chiefs after the bye:
vs. 4-2 Titans (Tannehill injured his ankle this weekend and may be gimpy when we get them)
vs. 2-5 Jaguars
@ 4-3 Chargers
vs. 3-3 Rams

@ 4-3 Bengals
@ 2-5 Broncos
@ 1-4-1 Texans

vs. 4-3 Seahawks
vs 2-5 Broncos
@ 2-4 Raiders

All in all, a pretty favorable schedule outside of having 3 straight road games in there. I could see KC finishing their remaining games with anywhere from 0-3 additional losses.

We can't cover Jamar Chase so I could see that being an L.
Raiders play us well so same there.
Chargers aren't as threatening all of a sudden.

So I agree, I think, if we stay healthy, we go at worst, 12-5.
I don't think 12-5 gets us that bye though.

It would be nice to have but I am not too broken up about the bye. Buffalo has basically a 2 game lead on us thanks to the head to head win so I don't see us closing that gap without some next level WTF happening. KC seems to play well on the road. We just need to keep our core pieces as healthy as possible, keep getting the defense tuned up and get Mahomes to stop throwing dumbass INTs. Plus, I could see Buffalo doing something stupid like overlooking someone thinking about a rematch with KC and losing in the division round or some Buffalo style stupidity.

Chiefs are 8-1 against the Raiders since Mahomes took over. +151 point differential. 5 of 8 wins by 18+. I'm not sure I agree that they play KC well. Had a lot go their way in the first game and still lost. I expect KC to win by 10+ in Vegas.

A liitle weird that the Chiefs and Jayhawks are both on a bye the same weekend. Good time to work on the yard.

Also CEH on the trading block if media to be believed.

He had a couple of nice runs this week including a touchdown. But yeah, I can see the Chefs trading him.

I would be fine with a backfield of Pacheo, Jet and RoJo. Run more power sets compared to the wide zone stretch plays the Chiefs love.

Problem is who wants a guy with average speed and is injury prone at one of the most value drafted positions?

Just about the best time on the schedule for a 2 game suspension. At least it is done and behind them now.

Yeah 2 home games against 2 teams with less ability than the Chiefs. It's fine.

Light punishment handed out in time for two light weeks. Any other team and the board would be screaming about an NFL conspiracy!

Chiefs kind of needed that after the Willie Gay Jr suspension timing. He played for 2 games and then missed Indy, Raiders, Bucs and Bills. The league kind of screwed KC there.

It's because the NFL hates the Chiefs and Mahomes. They're not an asset at all for the league.

I don't mind if don't win the big one every year, because we all know we are a top 3 team pretty much until Mahomes retires.
