Re: 2022/2023 NBA Season
The Kings had left KC before I moved there. My sister has lived in SLC since the mid-80s, so I think maybe the only NBA game I've ever been to was there when Karl Malone played for the Jazz. Being a Jazz fan, I became a fan of the Mailman. I was always under the impression he was a stand up guy, and not considered a dirty player. Granted, this was years ago and people can change, but, wow. I pay much more attention to college BB than to pro, but did everyone else already know this?
The NBA is "disgraceful" for including Karl Malone in All-Star Weekend events

I’m not doing the wiki’ing.
Did he not get in legal trouble?

I haven't pursued it either, but according to Bomani Jones, the guy in the middle of the video above, there has been no "reckoning".

Yes, well documented Karl Malone is (or at least was) a piece of shit.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

That's what the links are about.
Allegedly, when he was in college ~ age 20 he got a 12 y/o girl from his (very small) home town pregnant, and she had his child. And, he did not help her with the child, at least early on. According to the videos.
