And not identify that lower row as national championships. You don't need to call them anything. They can just be banners with years on them...people will know, or learn.Sparko wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 12:30 pmThat last line is gold, Ous.ousdahl wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 12:26 pm 2010 was too reliant on letting a regressing Sherron play hero ball.
2011 literally gave big starter minutes to Face Ass, even after other teams increasingly realized they could exploit him
2017 had BIFM but was otherwise so shallow, and reliant on a stud freshman who was kind of mercurial
2020 really did feel like maybe the best prepped for a run…we had the strongest and most automatic big in the country, maybe the quickest guard in the country, and a defensive beast as an X factor. We weren’t scoring huge numbers, but we were defensively locking down, and could count on Dok and Dot to get theirs when needed.
Of course, hindsight is 2020, no pun intended.
But I'll count 2020 forever because the final poll was the final measure.
But differentiate the banners ( Helms and 2020 ) more than being placed below - either a bit smaller or in a different color.
