Re: It's Game Day
Obviously Daniels was/is great. That being said, I feel we have to give our RB and OL as much credit as we are giving him for the W.
So much satisfaction for me watching KU beat the Illness that as bad as the refs were, and as frustrated as I was with the targeting calls, I focused more on the good things that were happening in the game than the bad.

can't remember that last time both kansas schools were both good at football and basketball. that was an ass-kicking by the hawks over the dowdy illini who obviously came to kansas without their tomahawks. nice.

Gutter of course is right. The OL and RB's deserve a lot of credit. We for sure have an offense that can play with anyone. We can score points.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 6:24 am Obviously Daniels was/is great. Now the D. Whoa Nelly. We have the back end. Those DB's are playing.
We get six sacks against a formable opponent. We gave up less than 70 yds rushing except for the long run by QB. Totally shut down their #1 receiver.
Still some questionable calls. Third and long D coordinator calls and the freaking refs.
Re: It's Game Day
You need to play so the calls don't matter. Check. But goodness those calls changed the score pretty dramatically.

Re: It's Game Day
Things I’d like to see:
330 yards passing Daniels.
110 yards rushing Neal.
3 sacks from KU defense.
21+ point win.
Things I’d love to see:
Jason Bean reception TD.
Kobe pick six in second half ( since he has to sit out first bc the officials last game were TERRRRRRIBLE )
330 yards passing Daniels.
110 yards rushing Neal.
3 sacks from KU defense.
21+ point win.

I’d like to see KU games broadcast on non-obscure networks that don’t require me to pay to watch.pdub wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2023 9:26 pm Things I’d like to see:
