I think Drew will actually consider turning it down. Which is crazy to think about. It'll be hard to pass up though.

Scott. Drew. Say it isn't so
Premature Victory Lap
I mean, just the fact that they are considering him is a victory lap. But Kentucky might go with someone else, or he might choose not to

If I'm him, I would. He's beloved at baylor, and always will be.

Someone could take the Kentucky job, and have four 30 win elite 8 seasons in a row, and be looked at as a failure and talked about like they are on the hot seat.

In some ways Kentucky is one of the very best coaching jobs, while always being one of the worst

Which is exactly why cal left

I think Oats would have been a better fit but I don't think he's an option.
If Hurley, Oats, Donovan are out, Drew makes sense I guess, but I think Bruce Pearl is a better fit.

I don't want to loose Drew because I enjoy watching his exasperation when things start to inevitably go south for him.

Demarcus cousins threw rajon rondo's name out there.

Zero coaching experience. But has been a player coach for a long time and one of the best. He could have a bright bright future as a coach if he pursued it, but head coach at Kentucky would be a ridiculous starting spot

But then again, Steve nash, Jason kidd, and Steve kurr all started as nba head coaches I think

Because a private Baptist university is so different from a flagship public one.

You have to remember, everything is directed at being able to say you were right in hindsight.

Yea.

Not to mention being the coach in a smallish town in a state that hardly even knows what hoops is, is a little different than being at a blue blood in a state that hardly knows anything beyond hoops
