Also Mitch Lightfoot had 24 points in the scrimmage.
Under/over Lightfoot's PPG set at 23.5.

Self could use a random lottery to pick the line-up each game...Small Ball, Four Guards and a Big, 3Bigs and 2 PGs, 3PGs and 2 Wings, endless choices. This team would be fun to coach!

I think the base lineup will be:
Dotson, Garrett, Ochai, SDS and Dok

I think the lineup for a team that goes small will be:
Dotson, Moss, Ochai, Garrett, Dok/SDS

I think the lineup for when the team is down and needs 3s:
Dotson, Moss, Wilson, Ochai, SDS

Big lineup for a team that just bangs down low and can get boards and points in the paint:
Dotson, Garrett, Ochai, Big Mac, Dok

Blowout lineup:
McBride, Braun, Wilson, Enaruna, Big Mac

Did I miss any scenarios?

Would think that Braun is maybe our best 3pt shooter not named Moss.

Garrett will be Dotson's spell, but I do expect he'll start over Moss, but depends on how much Bill wants shooting out of the gate.

I don't see McCormack and Udoka playing together at all.

LOL. I can see practices now. "Dok you don't have to come, since you might get hurt," says the HOF coach.
This same HOF coach did take it easy on Simien in practice. He knew he needed to keep him healthy and would yell at other players when they gave him a hard foul in practice. You can read about it in Beyond the Phog.

I thought that was Roy protecting Gooden and Collison.

I don't think it's so far out there to think Bill should handle Udoka with extra care in mind.

And I think he will. I think he's going to reduce his minutes by quite a bit due to the depth at the 5. Maybe a more fresh Dok is helpful with FT as well.

Dok has also slimmed down a whole heck of a lot which will help with conditioning and hopefully being able to be more mobile and stay out of foul trouble.

That probably did happen, but I don't remember. I just remember Matt Kleinmann mentioned that Self yelled at him when he gave Simien a hard foul in practice.

De Sousa coming back is so huge. Such a monster. Can play both post positions, which means in any lineup next to anyone on our roster. He should have more total minutes than Udoka this year.

I think this can be done at practice, in lieu of games.

I think he can play both positions as well, though I suppose we’ve really only seen him at the 5. He seems capable of at least defending 4s. And wasn’t he billed as a power forward recruit? How’s his jumper?

And yeah Silvio should get the most frontcourt minutes this season. I wonder how much he will play the 5, considering Dok and Mac both pretty much only play center, and neither are slouches.

And speaking of really only seeing him at the 5, holy shit how often does a power forward recruit come in at spring semester and end up jumping center in OT of an elite 8 game and win?!
