RIP jhawk73

Post by 3rdGenJayhawk »

So hope everyone is ok with my posting this. I did a quick search of jhawk73 real name (Alan Braun in Des Moines, Iowa) per a private message he sent me last year) and came up with this.

Let's give a big Rock Chalk send off to one of our most devoted fans and board supporters.
Rest in Peace our friend. Rock Chalk.

Wow. RIP to 73. I hope he truly knew how much we all appreciated his contribution to the boards.

3rd Gen - Thanks for the heads up on the sad news.
I remember him being candid on the other board telling us about his being a member of the Iowa Electoral College. Never knew or at least I don't recall he was a doctor.
Always found him to be an interesting and kind guy.
If they happen to see this - my condolences to his family and friends.

RIP 73.

I'm sure your community will miss you, as there are way too few rheumatologists to go around.

And thanks for letting us know 3rdGen.

A mark of a good life lived is when people who you barely knew miss you and are saddened by your passing. RIP 73!
