While true, I don’t see DOJ doing this. They are obviously (see the slowplaying of objections to Judge Cannon, the ridiculously favorable pre-trial conditions) treating this with kid gloves. They know they’ve got the goods, so are bending over backwards to give Trump preferential treatment…so as to not leave avenues for appeal.
