Bracketology 2020-21

Post by pdub »

This is interesting. It includes 3 scenarios - a full scenario, one with 48 teams ( would prefer this to begin with ) and one with 16 ( don't like this - but would be good for Kansas ).

64 teams.
Top overall seed: Baylor
On the bubble: Oklahoma
Kansas 2 seed with Kentucky as our 3, UNC as our 6.

16 teams.
First team out: Texas

Kansas the 2 seed in a loaded region with 1 Virginia, 3 Kentucky, 4 Michigan State.

If that did happen, and mizzou did beat us (two enormous if’s), I could see them loosing their next game by 30.

Updated.
Next four out in a 16 team bracket.
Full bracket: 6 seed v St. Bonaventure in a Ohio State 1, Nova 2 region.

I think KU would do really, really well as a 6 seed.

Just read about this. Their endless appeals is getting them through the process this year. So they'll qualify for tournament, probably take a ban next season and go from there.

Depends of course on the 3.
Give me MIZZOU or Texas Tech ( in that bracket ) over Virginia.

If we find a way to only lose 2 more games, I think a 4 seed is very much in play.

As long as one of those 2 isn't in the 1st game of the B12 tourney, i'm with you.
That said a 20-9 team won't make that much of impression on the bracket committee.
