In 2002, I thought we were way overdue for another national championship.

Same thing in 2022. 14 years is too long.

KU vs Duke in NC, that would be epic.

the youth hockey team has had a fantastic 2021. finished the 2020-21 winter season league and playoff champs. Finished the 21 calendar year currently 3 points out of first.

Anyone making any resolutions?

I’m gonna read more, write more, learn more Dead songs on guitar, and also start the revolution.

Not that 22 is looking ambitious for me or anything.

I've kind of already began, but I'm trying to be healthier without going too crazy. Lost a small amount of weight and focusing on better eating habits and lifestyle habits as a whole.

I'll still eat crappy, and I'm completely fine with that. I'm not going to turn into a vegan or pescatarian or anything like that. Baby steps, right?

Eating sensibly is more important than what one eats, to remain healthy. Portions and timing are very important. Veg(etari)an does not automatically mean healthy (and I say that as a lifelong vegetarian). Used to be that vegetarian food in many parts of the US meant different vehicles for cheese and mayonnaise. An Indian style curry or a Chinese style stir fry with lots of vegetables and greens is vegetarian as is fettuccine Alfredo.

Having said that, two Big Macs, super size fries, apple turnover and a Diet Coke is not an unusual fast food order 😄

Happy, healthy and prosperous 2022, all!!

I eat when I'm hungry, I don't when I'm not. Food is more for fuel than comfort. I'm also moving a lot, so that helps.

I think trying to avoid food 4-5 hours before bedtime, and avoiding carbs particularly with the last meal of the day, are big toward loosing weight

Neighbor and I were inspired by the Beatles doc and started writing our own stuff together. That's... Difficult. But rewarding. I'll go with that - making original music
