Bill is with family now, but expected to be with team tomorrow for game.

I don't think tomorrow's game is as important as other things, but entirely his decision.

dang. RIP.

This is one instance I wouldn’t blame Self one bit if he took a game off to be with fam instead, but also think he’s a badass if he’s ready for game time anyway.

(Who knows how many games K would miss)

Everyone grieves different. He'll probably focus on Saturday and Monday's game but then go to family for a few days after Monday night's game.

K's father died when he was in College. His mother died during the off season.
Not too sure why anyone would feel the need to ridicule him for how many games he did or didn't take off to mourn the loss of his father. Plenty of other things to ridicule him about.

Anyways, R.I.P. Billy Sr.

Holy shit, I initially read the thread title as saying "RIP Bill Self".

Still terrible news, but I almost flipped my desk over in rage and despair.

Meh K takes games off all the time.

Without singling out loosing a loved one, I think his antics are worthy of ridicule.

It's exactly where his dad would want him to be. He was a very nice man.
