Let's not get overconfident.

Creighton is scrappy. They seem to rally around injured players. Gutter and Illy are salivating over the negative posting over any loss between now and the elite 8.

Yeah. Their new PG is a slasher type that doesn’t shoot a ton, but is a strong finisher at the rim.

Strange. I am one the least negative people on here when it comes to our basketball team and their performance on the court.

KenPom 54, but that was with their big man. 127 AdjO. The only worse offensive team in the Big 12 was Oklahoma State, and OSU's defense was better.

10-7 in Big East, which is borderline mid-major. Iowa State is a better team. Their resume looks awfully bubbly for a 9 seed.

They are not a good 3pt shooting team but I expect them to jack up a ton of them.

You going again?

Ft. Worth looked absolutely dead in the city shots last night.

McDermott can throw anything at us. Run a crooked line and 2, play his zone offense against man, play 5 out, 4 in, 1 3 1 full court...hell he can triple stamp a double stamp.

I was given a ticket last night through a work connection. The ticket prices Saturday are through the roof… Thanks to 2, 1-seeds and UNC playing in the same pod! I’d like to take my 6yo though. We will see.

The arena really cleared out by halftime last night. The late tip didn’t help… That said, there’s not really anything to do adjacent to the arena. It was built for rodeo… Great little venue though.

Baylor vs UNC, as the game before ours, will help pass the time.

not too shabby, but i sure wish our D was a bit more staunch
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

It has been way better than it was, which is why it has jumped 10ish spots.

But, overall, I have to disagree with that takeaway. Our AdjO was around #2 and has fallen--that's a bigger concern for this team. Och's efficiency has dropped off some.

we’ve disagreed on this before (offense vs defense)

top 10 offense should still be good enough to get the job done, imo, so long as we take care of business on the other end of the court

There are a max of 5 games left, we're not changing identity at this point.

We have to score 78 points from here on out. Creighton might be only exception because they can't score.
