But isn’t there a reason why he would be open? So, if you find yourself consistently open then no, you shouldn’t let that jumper fly :)

Re: Government Shut-Down Thread

The "Wall" has from the start been about white supremacy and fear of brown people. BS. Anyone overstays a visa, deport them and deny them future visas. People who take all the trouble it takes to come here legally and become citizens are heroes. When you meet people who have done all that...

Re: Government Shut-Down Thread

Zsn, there are lots of kids who come in to work in the tourism industries, mostly for the summer, from Romania or Poland, and overstay their visas and just don't go home. Yes, and many students who come legally to study do the same after graduating. Immigration related issues are very diverse and n...

Re: Government Shut-Down Thread

I never said all landscape company owners are white, or even mentioned landscape company. A WHITE person picks up a non-white person at the front of the big-box-home-improvement-store to do some LANDSCAPING work... PSA: One can hire people to do landscaping work without owning a landscaping company...

Re: Government Shut-Down Thread

The very first sentence of the article you linked clearly shows how much ignorance is prevalent. BTW, I never said all landscape company owners are white, or even mentioned landscape company. I was merely talking about a hypothetical white guy (notice the use of indefinite article), a homeowner perh...

Re: Government Shut-Down Thread

That's the left for you though. Make everything about race so that people are afraid to say anything contrary to the left talking points. Let's do a small thought exercise shall we. A white person picks up a non-white person at the front of the big-box-home-improvement-store to do some landscaping ...

Re: who ya got?

The GOP finally got done (for the most part) beating up on a Kenyan Muslim, by way of Hawaii. Now they can start on a Samoan Hindu Communist (by way of Hawaii)! "Oh no, she's a vegetarian. She must be a communist, or a Nazi. After all Hitler was a vegetarian?"

Re: It's Gameday -- Whoot Whoot

Who plays at the free throw line area against the zone? Dedric did it when Dok was in. Can't do that now unless we play a lot of McCormick. Vick or Garrett? If I were Baylor, I would do what Washington did and just give up that free throw line jumper, especially if it's Garrett. People talk about c...

Re: Government Shut-Down Thread

Most Americans also support ending illegal immigration. So.... Tell me again how throwing a temper tantrum, as commanded by Limbaugh, Coulter and Ingraham (thankfully not Putin, this time!), help end illegal immigration??? You certainly don't believe The Wall is the answer to ending illegal immigra...

why is no cars unrealistic? maybe you should travel more, experience the world... Oh, they didn’t say “no cars.” They said “replacing non-essential individual means of transport.” That means the government decides whose “individual means” is “essential.” I’ll admit I’ve only been to 7 foreign count...

DC- you seem to be the rare conservative who is not looking at environmental issues and efficiency in a political way. The majority don’t. I also concede that the mainstream environmental movement has not given nuclear energy a proper consideration and has had a knee jerk reaction much the same way ...

Re: Government Shut-Down Thread

Why is everyone focusing on the ‘wall’ part and not so much on the ‘Mexico’ part? It was a package deal as I recall. The shutdown is over US taxpayers footing the bill. #wherearethepesos as Steve Schmidt put it
