That said, $4.00 in 2008 is $5.33 today. So now is fairly bad, yes. But not record high. And still a bit less than most of 2012-2014.

... although I don't know how to factor in the fact that gasoline itself can be a contributor to a higher CPI... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hopefully people bought USO when I said to?

and at the same time, it is villianous for another to own a gas guzzling pickup truck to pull around a trailer that contains tools so he can make a living and feed his family.

i look forward to it.
who said anything about SUVs?

not that you or numbnutz actually cares, but the wife wanted the camper trailer that her parents wanted to gift us…but i’m sure neither of you have ever done something you’re uncomfortable with in order to appease your spouses

i looked at all the options for what would tow the camper, and the Tundra made the most sense for a whole slew of reasons…fuel economy while towing was one of them, as was maintenance and overall reliability

but again, i’m sure neither of you really care

that's a real tearjerker.

but it doesn't explain why it is ok for the whackjob to own a gas guzzler for pleasure. at the same time it is villianous to own one to earn a living.

i guess this falls into the category of "what's good for me is good for me."

i never villainized TDub. i villainized the bubbas and soccer moms using the gas guzzlers as commuter vehicles and grocery getters. i didn’t even put 5K on my truck last year because it sits in the driveway 95% of the time

and you’d know all about “what’s good for me is good for me”…there’s nobody more selfish than michhawk
